If your store’s cart or checkout isn’t functioning properly, the issue may be with your cookie policy settings. Some cookie consent managers (like Termly, Cookiebot, etc.) block third-party scripts unless they’re explicitly marked as “essential.”
CartGenie scripts are necessary for everything from loading variant options in dropdowns, to adding items to cart, to processing purchases. So these are vital and essential functions that cannot be determined by the customer to accept or reject.
To ensure CartGenie runs correctly, you’ll need to add cartgenie.com to your list of essential domains. This allows critical scripts to load even if the customer hasn’t accepted optional cookies.
To fix this issue in Termly, you’ll need to open up the Consent Management > Domain Rules page.
Then in the “Essential” domain rules section, add cartgenie.com.
