The migration progress bar is stuck and hasn't moved!

If you're migrating from Webflow Ecommerce and the progress bar is stuck at 50%, then do not worry…

CartGenie is still working on migrating all of your orders, products, and categories even though the percentage hasn’t changed!

The reason the bar doesn’t move for a while at 50% is because of how the migration percentages are calculated. Currently, CartGenie displays the current “task” progression and not the percent of individual items migrated.

We are exploring how to improve this in the future to make it more informative.

How long does migration take?

Migration can take anywhere from 1 minute to an hour or so depending on the number of orders and products in a store.

For most users, migration only takes a few minutes.

Can I close out of the migration window while it is in progress?

Yes! You can close out of the migration and we’ll continue to work on it in the background. Check back in a few minutes (or longer if you have a lot of products) and see if everything looks correct.
