# Adding business information to your store

How to add your business info to your store & set your preferences for currency, units, and time zone

In CartGenie, go to the Settings > Business Info tab.

[Go to Business Info Settings](https://dash.cartgenie.com/settings/info)

Here you will find all the necessary Business Info you should add to set up your store.

-   **Store Name (Public)**
    
    -   This is the publicly facing name of your store and will be seen by customers so make sure it is simple and recognizable
        
    -   Ex: “Starbucks Coffee”
        
-   **Legal Business Address**
    
    -   The legal name of your business and the headquarters of your company
        
    -   Ex: “Starbucks Corp.”
        
-   **Store Currency**
    
    -   The currency that will be used to display product prices and process transactions
        
    -   _Note: This is automatically determined by your payment gateways. Contact us if you need it changed manually_
        
-   **Price Format**
    
    -   The format in which prices will be displayed
        
    -   Ex: commas for thousands vs periods, etc.
        
-   **Unit System**
    
    -   Choose between Imperial units or Metric units. These are used for entering product sizes and weight for shipping.
        
    -   Inside of each system, you can then select different units such as inches vs. feet or oz vs lbs, etc.
        
    -   _Note: Changing unit systems will not mathematically convert existing product weights to the new system. The number will remain the same (ex: 10 lbs will become → 10 kg)_
        
-   **Time Zone**
    
    -   Add your preferred time zone for your store. This will be used to display the order and fulfillment times, etc. in each order’s timeline.
