Discount codes can be applied at checkout manually by your customers by entering the coupon code. However, you can simplify this process even further if you wish by adding it to a link.
This allows your customers to click on a link to your store and when they go to check out, the coupon code will be automatically applied already – no manual input required.
Here is how:
Simply add this text below to the end of your store link and then add the coupon code.
?code=So for example, if your coupon code is HALFOFF, your link might look like:
store.com?code=HALFOFF
Or you can send to a direct product page like:
store.com/products/tshirt?code=HALFOFF
After clicking the link, nothing will seem different. But as soon as they get to the checkout page, your customer will see the discount applied.
