CartGenie allows you to set up subscription products in your store. This can be done at the parent product level or for specific variants.
When creating or editing a product in CartGenie, navigate to the “Billing & Shipping” tab. Here you will find the “Billing Method” option.
Select “Subscription” from the dropdown options.

Then, select the desired frequency from the Interval option. You can choose Day, Week, Month, or Year.
Setting the Bill Every to 1, means it will only be charged each interval (1x monthly, 1x yearly, etc.) You can change the Bill Every to create custom intervals such as every 2 weeks, every 3 months, etc.

The term determines whether a subscription continues to be billed every interval until it is canceled (by you or the customer) or if it stops after a set number of intervals.
Example:
Customer checks out Jan 1 with a monthly subscription with a fixed term of 3 intervals
Jan 1: Initial order counts as payment #1
Feb 1: Customer is charged payment #2
Mar 1: The final charge of payment #3
The amount you set in the “Price” field will be charged each interval.
After entering your basic product info and your base price in the “Billing & Shipping” tab, save your product as a draft and then go to the “Variants” tab.
Here we’ll create a new Option Set and name it “Subscribe & Save” or you could call it something like “Billing Frequency” if you prefer and add values for your desired options such as:
Single Purchase
Monthly Subscription (Save $5)
Weekly Subscription (Save $10)
Then click “Create”

This will generate those options as individual products using your base price and details.

You can then click into each variant and change the billing method to “Subscription”, edit the Billing Interval and edit the price to match your desired savings. You will see a subscription icon appear for each variant set to be a recurring charge.

Save your changes and publish your product!
