# Can I create categories in Webflow?

Will categories created in Webflow sync to CartGenie?

Categories created in Webflow will **not** be synced to CartGenie. Please do not create or make any changes to categories in Webflow directly. This two-way sync is limited due to several factors.

To add a new category to your store, you must go to the [Categories page](https://dash.cartgenie.com/categories) in CartGenie and click the “Add Category” button in the top right.
