How to add the cart icon to your site

Let customers easily access the cart and see how many items are currently in it

In order for your customers to see how many items they have in their cart and to easily access it, you can add a cart icon to your site’s menu.

In the CartGenie Designer Extension, click on the “Create Product Pages” section, then “Components”.

Click on the “Cart Button” to copy it to the clipboard and then click in your Webflow site’s menu and/or footer and press Ctrl-V (Cmd-V on mac) to paste it.

Note: The component copy/paste won’t work on Safari browsers currently. We recommend using a different browser for this function such as Google Chrome.

Example:

If your site doesn’t currently have a menu, you can add one using the “Navbar” block in Webflow. Turn it into a component and paste it on all pages of your site to make it easily accessible. Watch a tutorial here.
