If you’ve migrated some products and categories over from Webflow Ecommerce, you may see an “Imported” status on your items in CartGenie.

What does “Imported” status mean?
This imported status means that your products have been imported correctly from Webflow Ecommerce, but are in a “holding” state in CartGenie until they are published to your CMS collections in Webflow.
This is a necessary step because your CMS collections are typically not created yet at the time that the migration takes place. Also, CartGenie requires that shippable products not be published to your site until shipping zones have been set up. This prevents a customer seeing a live product that cannot be purchased.
How do I see Imported items in Webflow?
To see your imported products and categories in your Webflow site, you can go to your products list page in CartGenie, click the checkbox to select all and click “Draft” or “Publish” depending on your preference.
Draft will save them in Webflow as a draft status which allows you to see them in your Webflow designer, but your customers will not see them on your live site.
Published will both save them in Webflow and publish them immediately to your site so customers can view and purchase them.
Note: If you haven’t published your site since creating your CMS collections, then you must first publish your site in Webflow to see the items live.
