By default, your product variants will inherit the main image and image gallery from the parent product. If you upload images to a variant however, then only the variant’s images will be shown when selected by the customer.
But, what happens if you don’t want a variant to inherit the gallery images from the parent nor do you want to upload custom ones? That is where this toggle comes in.
If enabled on a variant, no gallery images will show on the product page when the variant is selected by the customer.
