When you create a product in CartGenie’s dashboard, you are uploading the image directly to our servers.
These images are used for:
Displaying the image across CartGenie’s dashboard
Sending emails to customers
Product thumbnails on the cart, checkout, and confirmation page
When the CartGenie product is saved as a draft, queued to publish, or published in Webflow, then we send the image to Webflow’s servers to be stored locally there.
These images are used for:
Image fields in the backend of Webflow’s CMS collection items – this allows you to preview your site pages in the Webflow designer with locally stored CMS photos.
Your live website’s home, category, and product pages – this ensures the pages load quickly and the images are accessible for SEO
