Currently, CartGenie allows you to create 200 variants per product (vs only 50 at Webflow Ecommerce & 100 at Shopify). We do plan on increasing this limit in the future.

How are variant numbers calculated?
Variants are created by combining all values within the created option sets.
Example:
Option Set 1 (Size): Small, Medium, Large, X-Large
Option Set 2 (Color): Red, Blue, Green, Yellow
Option Set 3 (Style): V-neck, Crew Neck
We will create a separate variant that includes every combination of all of the available values. Such as: “Small Red V-neck”, “Small Blue V-neck”, “Small Green V-neck”, etc. for all combinations.
So, to calculate the number of variants you will need, you can multiple the number of values in each set by each other.
Example: 4 (size) x 4 (color) x 2 (style) = 32 variants
