If your site was disconnected from Webflow recently or your CMS collection was missing a field, then you might run into this issue.

How to Fix
Step 1: Try to Reconnect the CMS Collections (if you haven’t already)
In your CartGenie Setup Guide, go to Step 1 and click on the toggle that says “I’m using a CartGenie template”.
(If you haven’t created your CMS collections yet, we recommend using our automated tool)

Then click the Connect CMS Collections button.
If any error messages appear, be sure to resolve those. If a field is missing, click the “Fix it for me” button that appears next to the collection drop down to have us fix the issue.
Once you see Step 1 marked as complete, refresh the page to ensure it stays that way.
If Step 1 stays complete after refresh, you’re done! You can close this guide.
If Step 1 shows incomplete after refresh, then move on to step 2.
Step 2: Republish Your Webflow Site
Go into Webflow and republish your site. This is often necessary in order for the CartGenie app to recognize that the CMS collections are in place and have all the necessary fields on the live site (whether staging or custom domain).
Now, go back to the Setup Guide in CartGenie and see if Step 1 is complete. Try to connect again if not.
If Step 1 stays complete after refresh, you’re done! You can close this guide.
If Step 1 shows incomplete after refresh, then move on to step 3.
Step 3: Contact Us
Click the blue genie icon in the bottom right corner and send us a read-only link of your site so we can investigate it further.
Sorry about the inconvenience!
